Dr. Amaya was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. From a young age, he enjoyed expressing himself through art, and was intrigued by his brother’s ability to take an artistic approach to his own work as a dentist. He also appreciated the noble role of a dentist, and how he could have the ability to improve someone’s overall well-being and extend their lives all through the science of oral care.
Dr. Amaya went to dental school in Bogota and received his degree from Pontificial Javeriana University. From there he worked on various projects for the Colombian government, and eventually made his way to California for further education in the field. Dr. Amaya is a member of the Georgia Dental Association (GDA), the Florida Dental Association (FDA), a certified Invisalign provider, and has also completed the Nova University Implant AAID MaxiCourse®. He is also certified by the Advanced Dentistry Pankey Institute.
Dr. Amaya graduated from Loma Linda University in California in 2005. Following graduation he worked in Atlanta, GA for 5 years and then landed in Miami where he has been practicing on his own terms ever since. He enjoys the warmth and diversity of Miami and all of the growth and opportunities to meet and work with other dental professionals who share his values. Dr. Amaya is committed to the field of dentistry and continuing education, and stays up to date with technological advancements. By regularly attending courses, he passes his own learning onto his patients, and enjoys how taking the time to educate patients can preserve and improve their oral health.
When he’s not practicing, Dr. Amaya enjoys traveling, staying active, going on culinary adventures and exploring and engaging with different cultures.
Dr. Jaramillo comes to Amaya Dental from Medellin, Colombia. He graduated from dental school in 1989 and spent a decade honing his craft in his home country. He then moved to Florida to attend dental school at NOVA Southeastern University in 2010. Dr. Jaramillo completed advanced training in implant dentistry and enjoys working alongside Dr. Amaya because of their shared interest in education. Dr. Jaramillo values his patients and enjoys building relationships and getting to know others who enjoy the beauty Miami has to offer.
Dr. Papir grew up in South Florida and has been practicing dentistry in Miami-Dade and Broward for over 15 years. She received her undergraduate degree from Florida State University, and completed her Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Papir then completed a residency program at the Medical College of New York and returned to Florida to practice.
Dr. Papir places great importance on offering a calming environment to patients. She is well-respected in her field and provides a naturally warm environment because of the confidence and expertise she has with oral health. Dr. Papir is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
In Dr. Papir’s spare time, she enjoys being with her family, namely her husband and two children. They love traveling together and making memories. She enjoys yoga, which likely lends itself to her calming presence in the office.
Dr. Quinones obtained both his undergraduate and doctoral degrees from the Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. He graduated at the top of his class in dentistry, with Cum Laude honors. Following school, Dr. Quinones-Betancourt made his way to South Florida and completed a one-year Advanced Education program in General Dentistry residency at the Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center.
Dr. Quinones honed his skills with restorative procedures such as root canals, implants, and surgical extractions. He enjoys continuing education and engaging with up-to-date research and practices in order to keep his skills in tip top shape.
Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. Quinones enjoys photography, travel and spending time with friends and family. He is also passionate about giving back to the Miami community, where he now proudly calls home.
Dr. Kristen Diaz was born and raised in Miami, FL to Cuban immigrant parents. As a child, she loved anything hands-on and so naturally gravitated towards dentistry over time. Her love for sunny South Florida led her to complete her Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art at the University of Miami, where she fine-tuned her motor skills and developed a keen eye for esthetics. She then utilized these skills to earn her 4-year dental degree from Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. During dental school, Dr. Diaz developed a love for periodontics and dental surgery while enrolled in the Periodontics Honors program, which led her to pursue the specialty. She then completed 3 additional years of surgical training in periodontics at Nova Southeastern University, where she happily served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Diaz is an active member of several dental societies, including the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the American Academy of Osseointegration. She likes to actively give back to the community by joining local dental study clubs and working part time as periodontal faculty at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Diaz is committed to staying at the forefront of technology and advancements in science in order to deliver the highest quality of periodontal care possible.
Dr. Brigitte Corredor, originally from Venezuela, first received her Dental Degree in 2012 from Universidad Jose Antonio Paezin Venezuela. Her passion for surgery led her to apply for a postgraduate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, in Argentina. In February of 2013 she was accepted to the program and successfully completed a four-year residency at Universidad Catolica Argentina, in Buenos Aires, graduating in December of 2016. During her residency she also revalidated her Dental Degree in Argentina.
Dr. Corredor’s ambitions to continue growing in her career brought her to practice in the United States of America. Here she completed an AEGD program from the Florida Institute for Advanced Dental Education, also known as Community Smiles, making her a licensed Florida Dentist as well. In the second year of her residency at Community Smiles Dr. Corredor was named Chief Resident of her class.
She is a very compassionate person, understanding and personable. She likes to get to know her patients and always follows up to make sure they are satisfied with their results.
Dr Corredor is fluent in English and Spanish; she is also very interested in learning Serbian. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, skiing in the mountains, and outdoor activities where she is being surrounded by nature. She loves her doggie Gnocchi and her husband. She also loves horses and plans to get one soon!
Dr. Francisco Zambrano originally from Cali, Colombia. He earned his dental degree in 2006. Dr. Zambrano's ambition to excel in his career brought him to the USA, where he immersed himself in cosmetic dentistry by attending the Comprehensive Aesthetic Dentistry program at NYU in 2008.
Additionally, he completed a 2-year AEGD program at Columbia University College of Dentistry, obtaining his license in Florida. A proud member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association.
Dr. Zambrano's compassionate and caring nature shines through in his patient interactions. He takes the time to understand each individual's needs, following up consistently to ensure their satisfaction with treatment outcomes.
When he's not creating beautiful smiles, you can find him exploring the world with his wife, Sarah, or enjoying outdoor adventures with his furry companion, Paco.

With digital x-rays and CBCT digital scanning, we can capture crisp, clear images of your teeth and gums, ensuring safe and effective treatment plans. Our team comes from a diverse set of backgrounds, but we all share a common passion for serving our community. We have raised funds and participated in walks for the Cancer Foundation for Children and St. Judes Hospital. Our team has strong ties to the community and we enjoy spending time together outside of the office making a positive impact on children and families health and wellness.
